Arthur Blessard. also known as "The Soho Strangler", is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Redemption". He is a serial killer who rapes and strangles women whose tax returns he audits.
He was portrayed by Ken Marks.
What makes him Pure Evil?[]
- Because women would constantly demean him, he became a serial killer and serial rapist who would later be dubbed as The SoHo Strangler due to his proprietary for bounding, raping, beating, biting, and then strangling his victims to death before leaving a white rose on their corpses.
- To escape any wrongdoing, he framed his 7 murders on mentally disabled flower man Roger Berry, putting him in prison for 18 years.
- In Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Connecticut, he raped, tortured, and murdered at least 12 more women, but this type mutilating the parts of the body with the bite marks and sometimes slitting their throats.
- He started back his murders by killing a woman, and then brutalizing one woman so badly that she died in the hospital.
- Upon being found, he was currently in a victims house, fully intending to rape and kill her if he was not busted.
- Cowardly running away from John Hawkins and Elliot Stabler to a roof, almost ending up in his own death.
- While he has less confirmed victims than Adam Grafton, Blessard still manages to carve a unique niche with his killings of biting victims while murdering them, with this never being replicated.
