Now all shall bear witness to my greatness. I hold their leaders powerless, and their mightiest city is under my control. Soon I will show this world a war the likes of which has never been seen. I will weed out the weak and inferior so that only the strong survive!
~ Apocalypse after invading New York City.

En Saban Nur, best known as Apocalypse, is the titular main antagonist of the 2005 video game X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse. As usual, he is an immortal, power-hungry mutant terrorist who firmly believes in "survival of the fittest".

He was voiced by Richard McGonagle.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Alongside Mr. Sinister, Apocalypse experimented on thousands of mutants while attacking the country of Genosha. Even worse, according to audio logs, it's implied the experiments themselves were more often than not fatal.
    • He also put Pyro in a torture chamber for turning against him.
  • He has bombs placed on Genosha's lower seawall, nearly drowning the entire populace.
  • He orders Mikhail Rasputin's men to destroy the Savage Lands' atmospheric generators, thus nearly causing the entire populace to freeze to death.
  • He invades New York and kills countless people, even dropping a bomb that turns a large portion of the city into a crater just to make room for his tower. He also planned to repeat this invasion with other major cities around the world.
    • After the invasion of New York City, he has sentry guns placed along the coast to prevent the Sentinels from saving any and all surviving refugees.
  • It's all but confirmed that he wants to wipe out humanity. While invading New York, he states his intent to kickstart a war where he'll weed out the weak and inferior so that only the strong survive, and Archangel (a product of Apocalypse's own atrocities) refers to humans as "weaklings" during his boss fight.
  • Overall, he's considered so dangerous and vile in-universe that even the X-Men and Brotherhood team up in order to defeat him.
