What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He runs a barbaric society that consists on abducting innocent creatures and killing them in the arena, not for any measurable gain as much as for the Ape Shaman's sadistic delight.
- Posed as a humble shaman who actually uses the tribal leader as his figurehead to keep his entire population under control.
- Orders the warriors to fight each other to the death, and gives the winner the dubious honor of killing Spear and Fang, while watching the bloody battle between his warriors.
- Orders Krog to drink a mysterious black liquid, after which he allows him to kill Fang as an opportunity for Krog to become the leader of his people, and to give Krog the opportunity to eat Fang and make an honorable battle trophy from her skull.
- While Primal is a dark series, Ape Shaman stands out by staging brutal fights between his best fighters and between various members of the Primal animal kingdom for the amusement of his tribe and to maintain his superior status in the hierarchy of his population.
- He has no tragic backstory, comedic timing, redeeming qualities, or any Freudian justification for his actions, as he simply does them to maintain his power and complete control over his tribe.
Trivia[]
