Anton Lone is a major antagonist of the Ultraverse comic universe, serving as the main antagonist of Solitaire. He is the father and arch-nemesis of Nicholas "Solitaire" Lone, and an all-powerful crime lord who seeks to maintain his wealth, and gain as much power as possible. His criminal activities is what brought Nicholas Lone to become Solitaire.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- When a doctor saved him from bleeding under the docks during his early criminal years, Anton murdered him, so he couldn't tell the cops.
- After killing the people who left him for dead, he then established a massive criminal empire, where all kinds of crimes are committed.
- Ran contraband in Cuba in the 1950s, and also funded a bloody coup by The Macoutes for further profit.
- Murdered his own wife by breaking her neck in a fit of rage, something he shows no remorse for, even bragging about it in front of his own son during the final battle.
- Worked with and funded King Pleasure, a vicious human trafficker, and even visited his Pleasure Dome to rape his sex slaves.
- Caused disasters on his properties, so he could make money off insurance, uncaring about how many people were killed
- When he discovers his son Nicholas has been trying to expose his various criminal activities, Anton orders a dozen innocents killed in a gang-war, and made it clear more people would be killed if Nicholas continued.
- Installed brainwashing tech inside his son, so that he would eventually become obedient to him.
- Orders Jinn to massacre the Monkey Cult, in order to retrieve their warheads.
- Tries to nuke all of Hollywood, and then let all of Los Angeles die from radiation, in order to clean up with radiation tech, and then make money off it by turning Los Angeles’ property into real estate.
- Was willing to sell out the rest of humanity to the Fire People, in exchange for their weapons and rule over North America.
- Blackmails J.D. Hunt into helping him make an army of Ultras, in which he'll use in his quest to rule over North America, and kill everyone in his way, entire cities included.
- Attempts to burn his son to death during the final battle, alongside everyone else in the Lone Tower, in order to "embrace a new future".
- He says something about having a rough childhood, but treats it as something to be proud of. It does not help that no part of his childhood is actually shown.
