Ant-One is the main antagonist in The Amazing World Of Gumball season 3 episode "The Recipe".
A failed clone of Anton created by Gumball and Darwin, he bitterly grew to desire revenge on the two for rejecting him. This would lead him to take control of, and later murder all of the other Anton clones, and then attempt to replace the original Anton to gain the attention of Gumball and Darwin.
He was voiced by Stefan Ashton Frank, who also voiced Mr. Bilderburger in the same series.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Despite being a burnt version of Anton, he's shown to be much more intelligent and smarter than the other Ant-clones, who are near perfect replicas of the original Anton and have clear agency despite their idiocy, as they were quickly able to develop morals and can do both bad and good things if they want to follow someone, meaning Ant-One has a clear understanding of right and wrong and yet chooses to do the latter.
- He knocked out Richard with a shovel when the latter tried to eat the other Anton clones. This was done not out of concern for the clones, but so he could use them to kill Anton.
- He killed the original Anton by soaking him with a hose (who Gumball mistook for Ant-Two), and chases after Gumball, Darwin, and Ant-Two with the other clones with the intention of killing them.
- When he finds out that Darwin can easily fight them off and that they are no match for him, he slaughters all the other Anton clones with a fire sprinkler for failing him. In addition to the large number, it's also shown to be painful as one of the clones is heard screaming in pain, stating that they were melting from it. This leaves him with one of the highest body counts in the entire series.
- While he originally appeared to have he cared for Gumball by calling him "father", he subverts this later on after he proceeded to bite Gumball to get him to drop Ant-Two, causing Ant-One himself to fall to his well-deserved death into the swimming pool.
- Before getting shredded by the grate, he showed no remorse for his actions and swore revenge on the duo.
- Though what other villains like Bobert 6B had done were worse, Ant-One stands out with incredibly low resources and for his already high body count.
- Although he was motivated by Gumball and Darwin rejecting him, it is a petty excuse especially compared to his actions.
