Anjuro "Angelo" Katagiri is a supporting antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, and the secondary antagonist of its movie version: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I.
He is an infamous seriel killer and the murderer of Ryohei, Josuke's grandfather. Angelo wields his Stand Aqua Necklace.
In the anime, he was voiced by Kenji Hamada and Lex Lang in its English dub, who also voices Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen. In the movie adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, he is portrayed by Takayuki Yamada.
What makes him Pure Evil[]

- Anjuro killed Josuke's maternal grandfather, Ryohei Higashikata, by tricking him into opening the bottle and mocked Josuke by blaming him for his grandfather's death by being "cocky". He then attempted to do so with the rest of the family members.
- While he has far lower kill count than most JoJo Pure Evils, his worst crimes are: pedophilia, serial rape and sodomy, which all three are unique even by the franchise's standards. He is more serious than the fourth arc's main antagonist Yoshikage Kira, and Angelo has more crimes that are worse than the murders Kira committed. Furthermore, Kira himself never raped or sodomized a single person in his life let alone act like a pedophile towards young children. Also, killing Josuke's grandfather is the reason why he managed to stand out.
- Angelo's depravity and crimes are heinous enough to the point where even Jotaro, who have seen mass murderers and terrorists in the past and barely shows contempt towards villains finds Angelo as a genuinely disturbing Individual, even saying that just reading about his crimes makes him physically ill.
- Overall, he is considered one of the darkest and most depraved villains in the JoJo franchise.

- Anjuro committed multiple felonies when he was twelve years old, giving him notoriety as the evilest criminal in Japanese history.
- He kidnapped, raped and murdered three young boys. One of whom he castrated.
- Anjuro possessed a man to kill an innocent woman with his Stand Aqua Necklace.
- After failing to rob a store, Anjuro went on a killing spree before turning his attention towards the Higashikatas.
- Anjuro killed an innocent man and his dog just because the dog pooped on the ground, which is an extremely petty motive for murder. The way he killed the dog was also brutal, as he ripped its face off with his teeth.
- He tries to kill Josuke and Jotaro.
- Even after all he did, he cowardly begged for mercy, but his horrible fate was already ensured by Josuke.
- As Anjuro explained how he obtained his stand, his Aqua Necklace nearly killed an innocent child.
- Although his defeat is somewhat comedic, it is mostly played for satisfaction and catharsis. In fact, Angelo is one of the only enemy stand users in Part 4 (apart from Yoshikage Kira) to have not have a change of heart after their defeat and instead, suffering a fate worse than death in the hands of the otherwise merciful Josuke (the other being Terunosuke Miyamoto, who was turned into a book by Crazy Diamond's powers).

- Despite stating he had a terrible father who made him into who he was, it seems to have little justification to his crimes.
- For various years, murdered various people, including his own father.
- Held a family hostage and murdered the father when he escaped from the police.
- Murdered a teenager with Aqua Necklace, and possessed another kid to hold a cashier hostage.
- While he did act nice towards Keicho, he didn’t show any care for him and only worked for him out of pragmatic reasons.
