What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Hated the Marxists, immigrants and the elites for no reason other than his white nationalism.
- Despite having a normal life, opted to kill many innocent people who didn't have the same views as him just to be famous, lacking any excuse for his attacks.
- Detonated a bomb in a van parked near Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg's office, killing eight people.
- Impersonated a policeman to access to the Utøya island in Tyrifjorden, Buskerud, where a teenager summer camp called the Worker's Youth League was located. Once there, he shot dead the two directors.
- Killed sixty nine teenagers on the Utøya island just because their parents had left-wing beliefs.
- When shooting his victims, rather than leaving them to die from their wounds, he shot them in the heads to ensure they were killed.
- Severely wounded Viljar Hanssen, nearly killing him, and tried to shoot his brother as well.
- Attempted to use his story to coerce more terrorists attacks from other white supremacists.
- Considered to take the plea of insanity just to get away with his actions and knowing that it would anger the parents of his victims. In the end, opted to admit his sanity, but because he would then get the mass media coverage he desired instead of doing it out of remorse for his actions.
