~ Alien Bat |
Alien Bat is a recurring antagonist in the Ultraman franchise, first appearing as the final antagonist of Return of Ultraman before returning as the main antagonist of Ultraman Saga.
He is portrayed by Hideo Higashikokubaru, while his suit actor was Ryusei Fukushima.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Unlike most antagonistic Seijins whose villainous acts are standard villainy to kill or taunt their respective Ultraman while attacking Earth, examples such as Baltan, Magma and Guts (with exceptional aspects to the likes of Yapool and King Galtan in comparision). The Saga counterpart of Alien Bat, unlike his other counterparts, is more depraved and has done something no Seijin antagonist has done before, which is to reach godhood and rule more than just the earth, but the whole universe.
- It was said and implied that Bat had committed multiple acts of terrorism across the universe.
- He first arrived to the Future Earth where he mass abducted more than millions of human lives and animals to use their despair and sorrow to experiment on for the creation of Hyper Zetton while it was just a corpse.
- For a year, he tormented the remaining survivors of Earth (who are just a group of young people, including children) by sending them revived Kaiju in hopes of their deaths, such as Astron for example.
- He petrified Ultraman Dyna into stone after intervening with one of his torments.
- He travelled within the Neo Frontier Space to kidnap several remnants of Spheres to use for Hyper Zetton's rations.
- Send in Gomess and Gubila to attack the refugee area to torment Ultraman Cosmos when the latter thought he would be another intervention to his plans.
- He killed off Gomess and Gubila in cold blood after Cosmos pacified them.
- He decided to send in Giganto Zetton after awakening from its cocoon, only to use this opportunity to further his plans.
- Once Zero, Cosmos and Dyna took care of murdering off the Giganto Zetton, Bat used his saucer to revive the said latter and combine himself with it, only to evolve it into his desired creation: Hyper Zetton.
- He boasted how he'll descend into a god once he's finished with the Ultramen during the fight with Hyper Zetton, where they are on verge to death and he was ready to destroy all lives across the universe, along with ruling it. But once Zero, Cosmos and Dyna fused into Saga, he underestimated their form and it only costed him, his death alongside his creation, thus restoring back the millions of lives he abducted and took away.
- Once revived by Absolute Tartarus into serving the latter, he pledged his loyalty to serve him by creating Zett at his timeline. But it was not genuine as it seems to be under pragmatic reasons or self-serving purposes like survival.
- He has no Freudian Excuse and lacks redeeming qualities for his actions.
Trivia[]
- He is the only (and second) Seijin antagonist in the Ultraman franchise to be Pure Evil, the first being Commander Black (if counted).
- Only the Heisei era Alien Bat is Pure Evil, as the Showa era Alien Bat had generic standard villainy and didn't do much to surpass his evil like his Heisei era counterpart did.
