Ali Al-Saachez is the secondary antagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam 00. He is a mercenary and terrorist. Before the event of the anime, he manipulated children to be terrorists under the name of a god, which included Setsuna. Eventually, Sanchez ended up becoming a mercenary who took great enjoyment in slaughtering people. In the second season of Gundam 00, he reappears as the right-hand of Ribbons Almark.

He was voiced by the late Keiji Fujiwara in the original Japanese version, who voiced Vladimir Makarov in the Japanese dub of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2-3, and by Scott McNeil in the English dub who also voiced Twin Masters in Hero: 108 and The Overlord in Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He brainwashed children to become child soldiers and made them kill their parents.
  • Setsuna in his previous identity as Soran Ibrahim was one of these child soldiers and one end up becoming one of Al-Saachez's major enemies.
• He launched terrorist attacks, which destroyed a building in Ireland, killing the parent and sister of the Dylandy brothers.
• Start war for fun.
• Killed Kinue Crossroad for no apparent reason.
• Killed Johann and Michael Trinity and nearly killed Nena as well had Setsuna not intervened.
• Working with Ribbons Almark.
• He destroyed the Kingdom of Azadistan.
• Tried to kill Lyle Dylandy after he refused to kill him in cold blood and chose to spare him, only for Lyle to react first and kill him in self-defense instead.
• Lives for nothing more than pure destruction, carnage, warfare and death, famously flat-out referring to himself as "the absolute worst kind of person".
