Ahmed is the main villain of the fifth Goosebumps book, The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is tasked with protecting the tomb from anyone who disturbs it, but his definition of "disturb" seems to be very broad, as he mummifies anyone (children included) who so much as sets foot into the tomb.
- He has an established pattern of killing people and has been doing it over the past few years.
- The way he kills people is needlessly cruel: he mummifies people until they starve to death or suffocate.
- He actually takes pride in his work and relishes heavily in it.
- Whether the curse is real or not is never specified, so, for all that is known, Ahmed could be using it merely for a self-justification.
- He is trying to uphold his ancestors' legacy, but this is most likely just pure fanaticism.
- He warns people not to enter the tomb, but this is most likely just pragmatic villainy, as he doesn't want it defiled.
- Although he's mostly just doing what others before him have, he is the only one shown actually doing the crimes.
- He attempts to kill children, which none of his ancestors have done.
- Because he's a human rather than a (literal) monster, he has lower resources than most other Goosebumps villains, which (along with the loose continuity) helps him stand out.
