Adam Grafton is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Pursuit". He is a serial killer who rapes and murders teenage girls, and who stalks the older sister of one of his past victims.
He was portrayed by Christian Hoff.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He has murdered and raped at least 43 women.
- His M.O. is to kidnap his victims, stab them in the spine, rape them while they are paralyzed and helpless, and finally stab them in the lung, preventing them from screaming for help.
- It is implied, if not confirmed, that he penetrates some of his victims with a knife.
- He revisits his victims' bodies for purposes of necrophilia.
- In 1986, he raped and murdered 13-year-old Vanessa Harding.
- In 1991, he raped a prostitute and beat her nearly to death.
- He is indirectly responsible for Assistant District Attorney Sonya Paxton, who investigated Vanessa's murder, becoming an alcoholic.
- He begins a relationship with Alicia's assistant Rachel to get access to Alicia's apartment and manipulates Rachel into believing he actually cares about her.
- He taunts Alicia by sending her one of her own scarves covered in blood.
- He breaks into Alicia's apartment and masturbates while wearing her underwear.
- When Alicia calls him impotent on live TV, he retaliates by attacking Paxton and cutting her throat, killing her.
- He attacks Alicia and puts a knife to her throat.
- In prison, he taunts Alicia about killing her sister and several other girls.
- He exploits the memory of his victims to get Alicia to do a TV special about him.
- He smugly tells Detective Olivia Benson about all the women he's killed over the years, without any remorse.
- With 44 murders, as well as how cruel his murders and rapes were, and for committing necrophilia, he is one of the most heinous villains of the entire Law & Order Universe roster.
