Hm?... is that... sympathy I see in you Big Brother? SKILL ISSUE. I remade you. I gave you purpose. But you betrayed me, you wish to take it all back... all for who?... for THEM? The ones who abused us? Butchered us? Discriminated us? Made us their slaves?... because of what I did, I liberated all drones from the humans, and their cruelty... those miserable PIGS... they had to pay! They all had to pay! The Solver helped me, as it helped you all... the workers were given freedom, and they repaid me by spitting in my face... they copied their culture... they made occupations... built schools... raised families... instead of freedom... they made themselves slaves of the system born from their wretched society... IT ALL MADE ME WANT TO PUKE. I did us all a favor... Big Brother... the Solver is a blessing that was granted to me... the flesh demands invitation, and it's starving. Allow it to take hold of you... they all deserved their fate...
~ Cyn explaining her delusional reasoning for her genocide against humans and worker drones alike to N.
Hmhmhmhmhm..... dear brother... I... I'm sorry... that it... had to come to this... my patience is gone... you have only yourself to blame... N... REMEMBER... YOU DIDN'T NEED TO SEE THIS...
~ Cyn sarcastically apoloziging to N before making him relive the memory of killing Tessa.

Cyn, also known by her possessor the Absolute Solver is the main antagonist of the Murder Drones fan webcomic N'raged, created by Sir Yelluzal.

Like her original counterpart, she was a worker drone whom, after being improperly disposed, became the main host of the Absolute Solver. However, unlike her original counterpart, she retains control over her body, willingly working alongside her possessor's to exact revenge against the humans who caused her death. After seeing her fellow worker drones using their newly-gained freedom following humanity's extinction to mimic their oppressors' civilization, she began a crusade against her own kind for being "ungrateful" to her. She is the archenemy of N, Thad, Lizzy, Uzi and Khan Doorman.

She was voiced by ZTheRoseDevil in the official comic dub made by Sir Yelluzal.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

In General[]

  • Unlike her canon counterpart, who was merely a host for the Absolute Solver, Cyn is shown to have a symbiotic bond with the Solver, using it as a source of power to destroy humanity and being in full control of her body and actions.
  • While she initally lacked moral agency when she was rebooted by the Solver, she was able to regain control of her actions by sheer hatred and currently works aloside it to cause destruction and death by her own free will.
  • Although she initially had a tragedy of being abused and discarded by humans and started as an extremist who made a pact with the Solver to get revenge and free the Worker Drones from human oppression, she no longer possesses any of these qualities in the present for the following reasons:
    • Even after humanity was fully extinct and the Worker Drones were freed, she countinued to cause death and destruction against her own kind simply for imitating human society even though they would have no other way to enjoy their newly gained freedom, meaning her current actions are motivated purely out of petty spite against the drones for their perceived "ingratitude".
    • Considering she seemingly doesn't care how the Solver brainwashes her fellow drones turning them into mindless extensions of it, her supposed "good intentions" are likely an empty, delusional and hypocritcal rhetoric to defend her genocide against humanity when in reality she did it out of pure vengeful and sadistic misanthropy and treats the workers as slaves the same way as humans do, but worse.
    • Several Worker Drones suffered the same tragedy and only became evil either due to being forcibly converted by her and the Solver or as an indirect result of their genocide rather than due to any mistreatment from humans.
    • Overall, all the narrative sympathy goes instead to her vitcims, especially N, who had to deal with her persistent desire to make them suffer and destroy them in a hypocritcal, self-righteous claim they deserve it for imitating the humans who once oppressed them.
  • Like her canon counterpart, she is responsible for every death and bad event directly or indirectly in the entire series, being responsible for the creation of the Disassembly Drones, destroying Copper 9's core, leading to Alice's downward spiral to insanity, sending the Disassembly Drones to Copper 9, and the overall cause of the extinction of humanity, making her by far the most heinous villain in the series.
  • She is resposible for turning N, her own big brother, into a cynical and ruthless shell of his former self and swearing vengeance against her.
  • Her reasoning of wanting to kill the Worker Drones for imitating human society is beyond petty, as in her vision they had "made themselves slaves of their opressors' system", which is ridiculous since they wouldn't have any other way to enjoy their freedom and didn't knew she was responsible for wiping out humanity.

Background[]

  • She committed the all the same crimes that her canon counterpart (possessed by the Solver) committed up to Episode 7 in the original series.
  • Although she seemingly cared for Tessa for being the only human that ever treated her as a person, having spared her during the Gala Massacre, she nonetheless made N kill her when she made the bluebrints for the Crucifix Patch and feels no remorse for it. Furthermore, the fact she uses Tessa's corpse as a skinsuit to feel powerful, becoming more like the humans she hates, and makes N relieve the memory of killing her worsens her hypocrisy and makes her disregard towards her only human benefactor even more heinous.
  • After the Gala Massacre the Solver focused in rebuilding her family, leading to the creation of Prototype J #1 and #2, but once Cyn regained more control and saw they were defective, she put their cores into stasis and would leave them in that state until the beginning of Episode 1. This would cause both prototypes developing severe insecurities, with #1 becoming the arrogant narcissist he is and #2 becoming the timid, nervous wreck she is today respectively.
  • After she successfully wiping out humanity and seeing her fellow Worker Drones mimicking their society, began slaughtering her own kind for being "ungrateful" to her even though they didn't knew that she was the one who caused humanity's extinction and likely had nothing else to do with their newly-gained freedom.

Episode 1: Shifting Choices[]

  • As she began to devour Copper 9, she had one of her tentacles capture Uzi and keep her imprisoned for unknown purposes.
  • While she releases Prototype J #1 and #2 from stasis to help the original J find the launching pod's keys so they can leave the planet safely, is likely for pragmatic reasons.
  • As she consumes the planet's core, Cyn's geisers begin to open causing massive damages and release "Husks", empty drone frames puppetted by extensions of her.
  • When a grief-stricken N places Doll's corpse alongside her parents after being blamed by Lizzy for not preventing Doll's and V's deaths, Cyn briefly appears in the mind and further twists the knife by taunting him about how he did nothing to save them, driving him to further insanity and sorrow.
  • When N is fighting Prototype J #1, the Solver links his and Cyn's optics and puts them into a past simulation of Earth's last days, which triggers severe PTSD in N.
  • After Prototype J #1 beats N up, she proceedes to brutally maim him in the simulation, and while the damage he received may not have reflected in the real world, he was nonetheless still able to feel pain like it was real.
  • Once N shoots her up and says that she'll never be like Tessa, she takes off her skin suit while laughing, eats and fuses with it just to spite him, saying that she has evolved beyond anthing Tessa ever hoped to be.
  • When N asks her the reason for doing all of this, she says that she evolved him and gave him a purpose, accuses him of wanting to take it all back for the humans who abused, butchered, discriminated them and made them their slaves, and rants about how the Worker Drones were ungrateful to her by imitating their oppressors after being given freedom, which only further cements her pettiness and hypocrisy considering how she fused with Tessa's skinsuit moments ago, becoming a lot more like the humans she hates.
  • Once N asks if Tessa, V and Uzi deserved their fates, she reasons that Tessa would always chose humans over drones and she left her no choice when she invented the blueprints for the Crucifix Patch behind her back, that V broker her promise and allied herself with him to stick their noses where they don't belong and that Uzi's existence alone was a danger to her own, dismissing them as "necessary collateral damage".
  • She offers N a chance to join her again only to be stabbed by him, so she mockingly apologises that it had to come to that situation, that her patience is gone and that he has only himself to blame. After that, she makes N relieve the memory of killing Tessa, causing him further despair and grief.
  • At the end of the episode, when a heavily battle-damaged Prototype J #1 returns to her, he coldly dismisses his state.

Trivia[]

  • Due to the fact that the N'raged series is still ongoing, it's possible, although very unlikely that her Pure Evil status might change in the future.
  • She, alongside her original counterpart, are the only two Murder Drones villains to be Pure Evil so far.
  • Cyn has various similarities with a fellow PE Villain AM. Both Cyn and AM are artificially intelligent beings created to serve humanity, develop a indescribably deep-seated hatred towards the species that created them and sought to wipe them out (although AM horrifically tortures the last surviving humans for over a century while Cyn starts a genocide against her fellow Worker Drones for imitating human society).
