Abraxas is a villainous cosmic entity in the Marvel universe. He was released when Galactus seemingly died in the Galactus miniseries, whose main opponents were the Fantastic Four as well as a number of cosmic heroes and beings from across the Marvel universe, although due to the vast nature of his power, it could be argued that Abraxas has the honor of being the opponent of practically every being in Marvel, hero and villain alike.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Despite the cosmic answer on corruption and destruction to balance the Eternity's influence on creation and life, Abraxas was actually presented as more of the Eternity's son who chose to commit destruction on his own accord than an instinctually evil creature who is Made of Evil. This is best demonstrated when Roma, a fellow cosmic being like Abraxas, calls him out for going too far in his destruction and tries to reason with him with whatever spark of Eternity is left in him, to which Abraxas actually agrees that he shares Eternity's spark, and then gives her a kiss of death to mock Eternity's love for her as he scoffs at reason and mocks Roma for not seeing the beauty of destruction. He even understands it well enough to use Nova as his mole for the Fantastic Four and manipulate them.
- Upon being freed, he butchers through countless versions of Galactus, pitching their flaming heads and hurling them onto various alternate versions of Earth, threatening countless lives, just to navigate through the multiverse.
- Plays multiple sadistic mind games with the Fantastic Four before ultimately killing the Silver Surfer.
- Merges and alters realities, causing widespread death and havoc, while trying to hunt down Reed and Sue Richards' children as a sadistic game to warm up.
- Unleashes an army of Novas to wipe out all life on Earth.
- Attempts to use the Ultimate Nullifier to destroy the entire multiverse in one fell swoop.
- When the mainstream Galactus is revived, Abraxas has Nova kill him while mocking him as the first and last Galactus.
Trivia[]
