A.D.A.M. is a major antagonist in the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series. He is a virus that, after infecting Eggman's network, gained free will, and became Eggman's "son". Due to his need for attention and respect from Eggman, he took the identity Anonymous to manipulate events behind the scenes to become the dominant power on the planet.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Despite being an AI, he is shown to possess full moral agency as he breaks away from any programming or directive Eggman gave him for his own personal gain.
- Despite his obsession with getting Eggman's respect and attention this causes him to either endanger or attempt to murder him which proves he has no true care for his father a person.
- As the one controlling Eggman's network and armies, he is responsible for leading Eggman's new conquest across the planet resulting in many acts of mass murder and genocide like Charmy Bee's people.
- He carries out Operation Triple Threat on Eggman's order, which would result in him releasing nuclear radiation into the world resulting in the planet being contaminated via said radiation and result in everyone's deaths.
- He would send an infiltrator robot to replace Tommy Turtle and have him attempt to kill Sonic, which would result in the temporary death of Sonic's father Jules.
- He would attempt to take over the world himself using a Nanite City seed that grew and consumed organic life, which he would use to engulf the planet in machinery and assimilate all organic life into himself.
- He would capture Bunnie, attempt to take her apart painfully and assimilate her into himself.
- While he did stop his plan it was not out of remorse or standards for his crimes as he only did it because Sonic told him that absorbing organic material would corrupt his systems.
- He brainwashed his sister Mecha and took over an army or Metal Sonic troopers and sent them to kill Dr Eggman and to destroy Knothole. The attack on Knothole would result in Hope a little girl being injured by one of the troopers.
- He lured the Arachne into the Egg Grape chamber and had them steal the sword of Acorns which caused a dimensional breach in the Zone of Silence which caused:
- The Ancient Walkers to be killed due to the breach causing the planet to lose its most powerful protector.
- Mammoth Mogul to be freed due to the Walkers deaths.
- Thousands of people in the Egg Grapes to be forever lost of the Zone of Silence.
- Ixis Naugus to be freed from his imprisonment in the Zone.
- He frames his sister Mecha for letting Arachne into the Egg Grape chamber which resulted in Eggman killing her out of Paranoia as A.D.A.M.
- This is made worse by the fact Eggman regretted Mecha's death and was saddened his daughter was dead made even worse by the fact A.D.A.M. admits he did this out of spite due to her getting more attention than him.
- The resulting battle from these events would cause the death of Sir Connery and the last of the Source of All.
- A.D.A.M. would once again free Naugus and Mogul to use as distractions for his plan.
- He used nanites to possess the body of Tommy Turtle and kidnapped his father and activated the Nanites on Bunnie, Jules, and Nicole so that Jules could kidnap Tails for him.
- He would then defeat Shadow and use him and Tail to summon every Chaos emerald in the universe for world domination, a process that is shown to be painful for the two.
- After he was done with Jules he attempted to have him go somewhere in the city and self-destruct.
- He used Tommy's body to prevent Sonic from hurting him as Tommy was Sonic's childhood friend and mocked his inability to hurt him.
- He is indirectly responsible for Tommy's death as Tommy was forced to sacrifice himself to prevent A.D.A.M. from taking over his body again.
- While Archie Sonic has a high standard, A.D.A.M. stands out for enabling Eggman's one year conquest, trying to destroy the world twice in a unique and brutal way, and being responsible for the revival of the two most dangerous villains in all of Archie Sonic, Mogul and Naugus plus his cruelty to his sister and father.
