I find out that on TV Tropes can count villains that has standards as Complete Monsters in 2 cases, besides obvious pragmatism:

• CM has a standard against thing that is extremely innocent compare to what they done, making it looks more petty and hypocritical than sympathetic. Like, Omnicidal Maniac/Cataclysmic CM, that doesn't like when someone swearing. I guess that what was meant by Standards that Played for Laugh.

• Or they has standard against thing for incorrect reason, not necessarily pragmatic. For example, Complete Monster is against racial theory not because it's awful, but because they hate everyone, and doesn't thing that "Aryans" deserve less suffer than "Non-Aryans". I'd say that Joker from Injustice could had still qualify if it was shown that his standard against Nazies is based on this, but it wasn't, so...

Aaand I think: can we apply similar rules? Is there any examples already?

To name a few:

Taurus Bulba worked for Bradford Buzzard, who is near pure evil.

2003’s Bullseye works for Kingpin. Quite frankly I’m not sure if 2003’s kingpin is pure evil tho, since he has an uncreated page, and since his proposal was a while ago, I’m assuming it’s due to plagiarism.

Dimentio worked for Count Bleck, who is IH, and later betrayed him.

I find this an interesting question. An example of this would be Mrs Tweedy, since without the sequel she would be near pure evil, since she didn't know that chickens were intelligent until the end of the first film.

• Living in constant fear of losing control of herself and being fully assimilated into the Solver like Cyn and being used to finish destroying Copper 9 and everyone she loves.

• The Solver tormenting her with visions of its crimes such as the horrific process it used to corrupt N and V into Murder Drones, it's gruesome murder of Tessa, the destruction of the Earth, the slaughter of the Worker Drones in its first attack on Copper 9 (including her mother's body being killed), Doll's murder, etc.

• The Solver trying to put bows on her all the time to make her look more like Cyn and Tessa all the while insisting that she would become her new host eventually.

• The Solver preying on her insecurities from being a social outcast to make her feel like she isn't good enough for N or anyone else to make her more isolated.

• The Solver making her hallucinate seeing her reflection turn into Cyn, or worse herself wearing Tessa's skin the way Cyn did.

For me it was Stu Macher since he was previously removed from Near Pure Evil Wiki for failing slasher movie baseline and having too many preventions.

Example: General Grievous fails the heinous standards in Revenge of the Sith, but the clone wars expanded upon his heinousness, allowing him to be pure evil.

PE characters crime that could suffer or *potentially* from fridge horror if not for other characters or possibly author to back it up comfirming it despite entirely offscreen and no mention of the crimes from other source.

The source of the crimes mostly comes from the character itself who talks about it but no mention from most character until some character speak of it.

What do you guys think? Any PE has this? The closes i could find is tenpenny necrophilia on Cj's mother comfirm by his right hand pulaski 🤷.

I have the question of whether Odalia ever genuinely cared about her family or never cared about them and therefore didn't subvert any redeeming qualities because she simply not had redeeming qualities . The flashback implies that she used to care about Alador, but it is debatable whether she cares about the children she had with him. She planned to include her family among the survivors of the genocide, but it is unknown whether she did so out of genuine care before subverting it or whether she never cared about her family.

What do you think? Did Odalia ever care about her family before subverting that care or did she never care about them?

One day I asked a friend if she thinks Voldemort is pure evil? She told me that the way he is written in the novels, he definitely is

but from what little you know about his past, the context of the time in which he grew up (he was born in the interbellum and spent his years in Hogwarts during World War II)

that he grew up without a family figure and what the house of Slytherin is racist with the Muggle-born. (and it's possible that he was bullied at first because Riddle isn't a magical surname) which justifies a bit his obsession with blood status

It would not be surprising if his hatred of Muggles and his fear of death were born. Because Tom grew up surrounded by death and destruction because of the war.

But since none of that is mentioned in the novels, You can't use those arguments to disqualify him as pure evil.

Does Norman Osborn loves his wife? From what I get she left him and faked her death when she found out how awful he was, but did he cared for her or something?
