Okay I wanna say that you both brought up guys whose arcs are clearly ongoing, or bringing up spoilers for a work that just came out (we have a 2 week period before doing a formal proposal for a reason) which both violate the rules for our discussion posts with numerous posts having ordinarily gotten deleted for this reason.

The only reason I'm not gonna exact the same fate here and jsut locking it is because I do agree with the message of the post: the PE villain is not, wi not, and honestly never was a dying breed of villains with a noticeable chunk of the biggest media both this and last year actually gave us candidates.

So I'll grant this rare display of mercy. Next time you bring up guys whose arcs are clearly not finished or who are on their "2 week wait time" as examples (or ask if they count) I am gonna delete those posts on sight. We disallow discussions on them for a reason.

Gonna address this first as I can see this wasn't properly addressed.

Shaiapouf's loyalty is genuine is because he feels guilty on having to go behind Meruem's back. That is how his betrayal was even discovered in the first place.

And Roberto puts aside any willingness to kill Nina and Tenma for the sake of fulfilling Johan's wishes instead. He doesn't "actively" go behind Johan's back. It was only the beginning.

The reason comparing him for Nui doesn't work is Roberto stops going behind Johan's back. Nui goes beyond Ragyo's back frequently for her own whims, and I too would've been all in for cutting her had it not been for one scene where she threatened to kill the person for bringing this up and telling her to apologize to Ragyo for jeopardizing their plans for the sake of her whims
