I found out that not every villain who has ''sadomasochists'' category are actually have ''sadistic'' part and only shown to enjoying their own suffering. And i understand why it's so - in the end, villains who simply masochistic are very rare compared to sadomasochistic. But there's still some - Mukuro Ikusaba (Near Pure Evil who has ''sadomaso" category) is enjoy being abused by Junko but never shown to care about suffering of others.
So, here's my question - is there a PE character who shown to enjoy their own pain but never shown to enjoy suffering of others?
Since PEs are mostly exciste to be feared and despiced without having redeeming qualities it's only natural for them having a huge breakdown during their fail. BUT! There's always exceptions - so how about PEs who meet their fail/death with dignity.
My example would be Kenjaku. Despite knowing he is going to die and not see his plan come to fruition, he greets his death with a smile, as he had a lot of fun with a worthy opponent beforehand and his plan will continue even after death. This reaction is even more admirable when you remember that he spent 1000 years (or more) on this plan and that Mahito and Sukuna meet their ends in a much more pitiful manner.

Being a PE doesn't mean being a jerk to everyone. Some PEs can form relationships that have a purpose beyond just personal gain and pragmatism. Yes, a PE will still sacrifice their "friends" without a second thought if necessary, but that doesn't mean they didn't have fun together. So name a PE whose relationship with another villain was the closest to a true friendship. Bonus points if it's a PE's "friendship" with another PE!
My pick: Mahito's "friendship" with his curse group. Even though he didn't express sadness over their deaths in the end, it's worth noting that he had fun with them. This is especially true for his relationship with Hanami, whose life he saved and gave advice that helped him become stronger. Not to mention that despite Mahito's desire to be a curse, he never judges his comrades for wanting to be like humans.
No one denies that the purpose of PEs is to be the worst of the worst and generally unsypathetic, BUT if you think about it that way, then “unsympathetic” is a rather subjective thing. So we still get sad when some cool characters go, even the worst of the worst. So, name the PEs that upset you because their story ending. This can happen for several reasons:
1) PE's death was horrific and pathetic and perhaps sad enough to make you feel sorry for them (like, for example, Father from FMAB or Joker from Arkhamverse)
2) He was just a cool character (maybe your favorite) and you're upset that he won't be a part of the story anymore (Killgrave from Jessica Jones).
My example: I started watching/reading Jujutsu Kaisen solely for Mahito and after he left I'm not that interested in the story anymore. Honestly, I'm waiting for epilogue of JJK only because I hope to see the reincarnated Mahito in it.
