Light Yagami

I mean, I hear a lot of people saying that they interpret him as a NPE since he had really mourned over his Dad's death (I also believe he was suffering because of that and genuinely was heartbroken). And that his Death in the Anime (I say it once again, in the Anime) is supposed to make us feel bad for him. I mean, I also interpret him as a NPE-like villain, because he may have called his Dad "a fool" but still, even if he called him fool I believe it was because he thought that his view on the world and that killing the criminals is bad, and not to show that he doesn't care for him anymore. And therefore, it means that he couldn't be PE anymore. And okay, but what if someone says that Light wanted his Dad to reveal Mello's real name and that was why he was crying, not from his Dad's death but from him not knowing Mello's real name? Well, it's quite easy: These two things don't contradict each other. Light could feel sorrow after he witnessed Soichiro's death, but also that he didn't reveal Mello's name. I think that Light didn't only want to kill Mello for being against him, but also for threathening lifes of his loved ones.

I don't think that since Light was proposed almost 5 years ago on this wiki, it would mean that he can't be removed and made to permanently stay on Pure Evil wiki. Like, a lot of villains were proposed a long time ago here, but ultimately got removed. For Example Bellatrix. Also, to not make anybody mistaken, I believe that only the Anime Light Yagami should be removed from the Pure Evil category and instead moved to Near Pure Evil.

So in short, I just think that Light genuinely cared and loved his family. And since he refused to kill his loved ones, it means there is still at least one redeeming quality left in Anime Light Yagami. Even if he didn't show it, it's still strongly implied he cared about them nontheless and if he expresses at least 0.0001% sorrow for his Dad's death, and 0.000000000001% care about his family, it means he can't be Pure Evil. The same mechanism with AFO who was removed from Pure Evil wiki after it was 100% sure he still cared about Yoichi in his own twisted way.

It's just my own opinion (and question as well, lol), and if you disagree with my view on Light, It's 100% okay. If you'll show me some counter arguments to why I am wrong, I'm happy to know what you think. And don't take this as some serious petition to un-PE Light Yagami, but just Pure curiousity from a Newbie who isn't even allowed to make proposals XD.

For example, Scp 4666 and Specimen 4 are not considered pure evil because they think they are doing the right thing but then Light Yagami, Goku Black, Moon (fnaf), and Albert Wesker think they are doing the right thing but don't have mortal agency issues.

I would say it's Light Yagami.

Not only does the guy sadistically kill a lot of innocent people because they dared to contradict him, he thinks he's a good guy, but he also hypocritically begins to be disgusted by his co-users who kill police officers to get their way. ends while they do the same. It's incredible how completely disconnected the image of himself is from reality.

When we talk about PE here, we usually think about people who strive for wealth, power, or sadistic pleasure. But these are just the most common motives for committing the most heinous acts. So, give me the most unusual motive, in your opinion, that Pure Evil could have. Yes, this is quite subjective, but in order for us to have something to start from, it should not be a lust for power, money, sadistic pleasure, or revenge for petty reasons.

In my opinion, the last thing you would expect is that PE would want to make an utopia for humanity. So my answer is Light Yagami. If you don't think this is unusual, then just think about it - essentially, he is Pure Evil, who is trying to create a world where everyone will be Pure Good!

The villainous deed of two versions has no difference, so is it really necessary to remove the anime version's information of Light Yagami's page?

Why was he removed from the category - From Nobody to Nightmare. He was a high school student and got his hands on the Death Note and nearly succeeded in becoming a god? How is that not nightmarish.
