Since PEs are unredeemable - their respect is selfish and mostly consists of "respect" for people who share their traits. Here are my option:
Grimmel respected Stoick for his leadership and hatred of dragons, but that's the only things he valued in him and later undermines this quality by showing that he doesn't respect Stoick's choice to make peace with the dragons. Drago, by the way, seems also having some respect for Stoick's strenght.
