Hello, I know that this is probably not the right place to write this, and the case as the title indicates, I have a question about Bill Cipher stay as PE, and this is not a proposal to eliminate his status as PE, It is simply a doubt that I think could be mitigating for him.
The fact that he misses his home dimension, Euclydia, is well known (Axolotl states this in Gravity Falls: Dipper and Mabel and The Curse of the Time Pirates' Treasure!, and there are multiple indications in The Book of Bill and thisisnotawebsite.com that this is indeed correct). He is also shown to possess insecurities due to being harsh in his childhood due to his mutation into Euclydia, and only wanted to show his species the 3rd dimension to be understood, which accidentally caused their destruction. Doesn't he have a memory of his native dimension like the last atom that remained of it? Ultimately, it seems to me that his denial, happiness and the fact that he wants to bury his responsibilities with his evil and chaos stem from the insecurity of the accidental destruction of Euclydia, since as I said, he still has a memory of her, and he's known to feel guilty about it, so I guess that's all more of a defense mechanism to ignore the guilt he feels deep down, since he's fooling himself and everything else. And on the same page he mentions that on thisisnotawebsite.com he gives the speech about his mental anguish which is worthy of pity as well, and the important fact is that his mental anguish is due to the fact that he sees Stanford capable of redeeming himself and live a happy life with his family, which he will never be able to do due to his denial and the accidental destruction of Euclydia.
It's just a doubt, and yeah, it's probably I completely mistaken.

Pure evil villains that are evil for the sake of evil: The Smile Entity, The Boogeyman, The Yellow Rabbit, and Nyarlathotep are examples of villains who are evil for the sake of it.
Pure evil villains that are evil for a reason:
AM: he is angry how humanity created his painful existence.
Bill Cipher: he accidentally destroyed his home dimension. He tried to convince him he feels no remorse however. It caused him to subvert any remorse he had.
Moon (FNAF) He delusionally thinks he is punishing naughty children
Satan (Kisterverse): He is obsessed with becoming the ruler of creation
The Ink Demon: Being trapped by Joey caused him to hate humanity and while this was tragic, he subverts this tragedy by becoming a sadistic tyrant,

Because the original show is age-rated 7+ on Disney Plus, but this new set of crimes is more of a 14+ or 15+ just by the descriptions, even higher if you were to show them onscreen lol. Even as a grown adult I find the elf one and the ones about people burning to death to be genuinely disturbing.
We often have an image of PE as beings being totally narcissistic who love only themselves. However, this is not often the case because some of them are deep down very miserable beings who are plagued with enormous self-loathing.
The recent case of Bill Cipher illustrates this, as he is implied to feel deep guilt for accidentally destroying his dimension and indirectly referring to himself as a monster.
However it is obvious that these insecurities that these PE may feel are not mitigating and only make them pitiful at best.
So give me other examples of PE suffering from self-loathing issues.
