@MarioD0607 Vitalis Bénévent is the main antagonist of "A Plague Tale: Innocence". Vitalis is the grand inquisitor who wants to kill the young Hugo de Rune for getting his power over rats so he could take over France, and then the world. The game says Vitalis wanted to take a blood sample from Hugo, but it's the middle ages we're talking about, and back then, forcing a child to give a blood sample is as good as killing him. Or worse. He's also confirmed to order the mass murder of live stock. His second hand Nicholas (A Plague Tale) isn't much better, and definitely should get a PE proposal of his own, but that's for another time. I'm in episode 5 out of 16 in the game (still didn't play the sequel, but i'm not afraid of spoilers), but so far this game is great, and i'm sure i'll enjoy the sequel too.
Frollo is more iconic. That's a given fact. The thing is that each of them was meant to represent different things. Frollo was meant to be a representation of religious zealotry and being evil and complex at the same time, while Vitalis was meant to represent the evil in a man's heart even at the face of a disaster such as the plague.
