Haven't watched Akame Ga Kill! (and I don't intend to because it sounds extremely dumb and edgy like a lot of other anime) but Champ sounds morally worse to me.
Pennywise needs to eat humans in order to survive and it tortures its food to make it tastier. It is not very clear to what extent its actions are caused by its nature and it is possible that it has moral agency issues because its backstory is never explored.
Champ has a lot less resources than Pennywise, his actions are not caused by his nature and he doesn't need to rape and kill children to survive, so I choose him.
You could say that with almost any PE vs Pennywise though, it's not in their nature to do it but Pennywise is so cruelly sadistic in his actions.
You are right and this is why I also take into consideration the crimes they commit and other potentially mitigating factors.
For example, I don't think Percival C. McLeach is worse than Pennywise because all he tries to do is kill one kid gruesomely.
People are contemplating cutting him from PE. Nothing indicates he knew the animals were sapient.
Yeah, I was wondering about him too. The only argument I could see for keeping him is that he tried to feed the main kid protagonist to a bunch of crocodiles which might be enough to pass the baseline but I am not sure.
Also, about Champ, another reason why I choose him is because he is a normal guy and he doesn't have Pennywise's powers and I am pretty sure if he had them, he would be just as bad if not even worse.
I can agree there about Champ.
I choose Champ, child rape is just more depraved to me and very much disgusting in general.
Usually, I'd say Pennywise, but Champ doesn't only kill children... but... he also rapes them ._.
That's... that's at least something I can give Pennywise at least credit for. They do come close though.
Though to be fair, Pennywise attempt an enforced child rape... Keyword attempt.
Now I'm kinda split honestly. Both are vile in completely different ways.
What do you think?
