No. Absolutely not. He has nothing to gain from helping Tyler or standing up to his mother. Having all those redeeming qualities faked would be stupid and laughable. He’s played with too much sympathy. Bryce is a clear and forever shall be a no. The actors themselves state his remorse is genuine

Surprised you didn’t at least mention Monty instead. His prevention is extremely weak given we have approved villains played for sympathy before. His redeeming qualities are even weaker than Bryce
