Hello,
I would like to suggest reviewing or potentially removing the article about King Magnifico from Wish, as I believe it contains factual inaccuracies and stretches of interpretation that contradict the film’s narrative and character development.
Here are my points:
1. Misrepresentation of his fall to evil as a conscious and joyful choice
The article claims that Magnifico "gleefully embraces" dark magic and throws away all goodness.
This is not accurate. The film clearly portrays that the dark magic corrupts him once he opens the book – it is even said in the narration that "it made him evil." His decision was based on fear and desperation, and everything he does afterward is a consequence of being consumed by that power, not a willful, joyful abandonment of his morals.
2. Dismissal of his tragic backstory
The article implies that his past doesn’t matter because he only briefly mentions his family.
However, the loss of his homeland and loved ones is central to his motivation. He explicitly says to Queen Amaya, “Everything I do is so something like that never happens again.” The fact that he doesn't often speak of his family doesn’t diminish the trauma or his internal drive to protect others from similar suffering.
3. Claim that he was already a selfish tyrant before using the magic
This is an exaggeration. Before he turns to dark magic, Magnifico is seen as a respected and beloved ruler. The kingdom thrives, citizens sing his praises, and the city is vibrant and joyful. He may have been selective with granting wishes, but that’s not tyranny – it’s pragmatism, possibly even caution.
Saying that the dark magic simply "revealed his true self" is not supported by the film. His descent into villainy is gradual and influenced by paranoia and external temptation, not an inevitable expression of his "true nature."
4. Misleading portrayal of the wish system as deception
The article accuses Magnifico of "tricking" citizens into surrendering their wishes under false hope.
This is misleading. People give their wishes voluntarily and knowingly. It's made clear that not all wishes will be granted – and that he selects those that are safest and most beneficial for the kingdom. It’s not a scam, it’s a flawed but openly accepted system, more like a lottery than deceit.
5. Misinterpretation of the song "This Is The Thanks I Get?!"
This scene reflects Magnifico's emotional breakdown, not deep-seated hatred for his people. He feels unappreciated and threatened by an unknown force (the star), and the crowd suddenly questioning a system they once accepted fuels his frustration.
Yes, his behavior becomes more volatile, but there’s no clear evidence that he mistreated citizens before his corruption. The kingdom appears joyful, and no one voices real discontent.
Conclusion:
While yes, King Magnifico becomes a villain by the end, his journey is one of moral downfall, not inherent evil. His initial motivations, internal conflict, and corrupted transformation contradict the requirements for inclusion on Pure Evil Wiki.
I kindly ask that this page be reviewed for factual accuracy and alignment with the wiki’s standards.
Thank you for your time.
(besides, I think most of us will agree that this movie is very poorly written and generally poorly executed, so there are a lot of plot holes in it that don't help with proper classification of the characters)
The guy that constantly vandalizes the "Dimwit" page is back, again.
As I know, The show version of him is considered villainous benchmark, but what about his comic version, isn’t he far worse than he his in show?
She goes by the name Sauerkraut Machine, and she forces her son to eat only sauerkraut for breakfast ALL BECAUSE FOR THE EXCUSE OF HER HUSBAND’S DEATH FROM SAUERKRAUT OVERDOSE!!
>:(
Honestly I find Palpatine and Bill Cipher really overrated.

Since she successfully stands out by causing a storm on Goiky, nearly ending all of reality and removing Donut's limbs being enough to pass the baseline and the fact that her comedic moments aren’t detracting as her worst acts are almost never played for laughs.
Some might say, "she might have some care for Three", but I think not! Why? It’s because of this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/BattleForDreamIsland/s/wUoj9k8vRQ
This comment states that the red triangle (representing Three) is the one holding up the moon, which probably indicates that Three was the one that trapped One, not Four. Do you think One wild care about someone who literally trapped her in moon?
Im thinking she counts here but her arc is ongoing so IDK.
It's the Captain Underpants franchise. There are numerous villains who are irredeemable and their only prevention is comedy. I personally think that if the series actually took itself seriously, there could genuinely be some PEs.
These are the following irredeemable villains:
Do you think any of these could be Pure Evil had the franchise take itself seriously?
I've been curious because it seems to have no redeeming qualities from what I analyzed.
Worst of all, its created The Debate Demon and The Moument Monster, therefore making it responsible for every single thing that happened In Modern Day.
Even regardless, it tries to take over America by spreading itself across the world iirc.
The only ones I can think of are WFC Megatron and AARRRGGHHH! from Trollhunters who are both voiced by Fred Tatasciore and Beast Wars Megatron, Armada Megatron and Animated Optimus who are all voiced by David Kaye.
(Not whitelisted) A fanon version, and I have stated it before, but I do think this is a good candidate.
Repeated writings from my past post:
Short summary: Len is the overarching antagonist of the (Mario) The Music Box duology. She is a mysterious witch who offered Marchionne Evangelisti (Mario's past incarnation) another chance to live as he is about to get executed by giving him a brooch that granted him the wish to start over. This led to Mario being born as his reincarnated self, as well as giving him LOAD and SAVE powers (Undertale reference for convenience lol)
Evil deeds:
- In General
- She is generally very cruel and apathetic towards everyone, specifically Mario, and is the main cause for the present events of (Mario) The Music Box, since her deal with Marcihonne led to Mario being born.
- She has a twin sister named Layla, who is implied to have similar powers to Len, but there is no evidence that proves she cares for her, and whenever they are introduced separately, they never mention each other.
- Her only motive for all her atrocities is to experiment on human lives in her "studies" about human nature.
-Backstory
-It's heavily implied through Toadston's notes that she and Layla were the 'cursed twins' who caused the Ice Age through their immense power for no confirmed reason.
-When Marchionne was about to be executed by Riba on the guillotine, Len showed up just before it was about to happen, briefly saved him and offered to give him a second chance at life through the power of the brooch before getting executed. Here, she deceived Marchionne into being bound by her to serve as an experimental puppet in exchange for his second life.
-She also did a similar thing to Sundige Nacht, tricking him into going to getting trapped in an alternate universe for the sake of power in the event that Mario accidentally fell into Wonderland
(Mario) The Music Box
In the remake, Len appears as a cameo in the mansion. When Mario encounters her, Len will ask what he is doing. If the player answers 'Experiment', Len decides to kill Mario brutally because she interprets this as Mario discovering the truth about his LOAD and SAVE powers.
(Mario) The Music Box ARC
During the Insane Route, Continuance 4 Ending, she stops time as soon as Mario and Riba were about to start their newfound friendship and tries to convince Mario that Riba will eventually betray him. While this was true for other endings, Riba did in fact redeem himself in this ending.
During her fight with Mario, she proceeded to kill him in incredibly gruesome ways such as snapping him in half, crushing him, or pulling apart all his limbs with her giant hands.
When Mario still clings onto hope to defeat Len, she impales him and declares that he is no longer needed for her experiment. She takes away his ability to SAVE and LOAD, and throws him to the pit to die where the other Marios who have fought Len in previous timelines ended up. This also confirms that she had done this to Mario several times, and it is not Fridge Horror, because we get to see their bodies and Len states that Mario had tried fighting Len before by her response "*Sigh*.. This again?".
This would lead to Marchionne stealing Mario's body, and leaving to live on his own, Luigi never being able to find Mario again, and Riba failing to redeem himself as he expresses extreme guilt over not being able to save Mario at that moment.
Although she finally gives Mario the Happy Ending if the player goes through the entire game without needing to SAVE, she only did this because Mario proved to her that he didn't need to rely on her to escape the town. Because of this, Mario served no purpose in her experiments, and this convinced Len not to use him anymore.
Given that Len had the power to rewrite history and give Mario the happy ending, this, in a way, makes her worse, because she could easily undo the trauma Mario endured through the two games by rewriting the timeline to make sure Mario never goes to the mansion, loses his loved ones, and the town, but chose not to for those endings because Mario was relying on her and hence, was still valuable as an experiment to her.
Wonderland Update
When Mario gets falsely arrested for the murder of the King, Len shows up again to meet him. When Mario begins to ask more questions, Len gets tired of him and takes away his voice simply because she was annoyed by him, knowing that he won't be able to speak for himself in court and get executed by their Queen.
After Mario gets executed, Sundige Nacht confronts Len about how she made him and Mario suffer. Len promptly impales him, ending her deal with him since she has no reason to experiment with Sundige Nacht anymore.
After Mario defeats Sundige Nacht in the Corruption Ending, he gets his hands on the crown to wish for whatever he wanted. Len whispers to Mario to wish for anything he wants, and Mario ends up deciding to stay in Wonderland as king. While Mario chose this, it's heavily implied that Len manipulated him into doing it to start the cycle of death again in Wonderland.
Undertale Update
After Mario defeats Monochrome, she is implied to have kept Mario trapped in the Undertale realm through the dialogue.

I thought it would be interesting to point out on Thrill-seekers page that they're not necessarily have to be sadists but here's the problem i met: i can't think of any Thrill-seeking PE who aren't sadists. Hypothetically, it's possible - it can be Blood Knight who only enjoys fighting strong opponents or some genius who seek intellectual challenge. Or just some gamble-addict who doesn't find misery entertaining.
Any examples?
